Thank God.
I don’t know about you and where you are, but here on the south rim of Sahara Desert (I usually insert the word Hell here, but for those more delicate…) it is cookin’. The temperatures have been in the nineties, but that humidity has caused the “real feel” temperatures to be over one hundred degrees. the instant you open the door and step out onto the porch, it almost takes your breath. I know there have been places that have been hotter, but it is miserable here.
With that being said, summer is almost half over – calendarly speaking. Here is South Carolina, we will still be able to wear shorts through Thanksgiving most likely and maybe even Christmas.
I am ready for a break. Not like Eastern Kentucky kinda break (torrential rains and flooding) but a slight break.
Please remember to pray for all those effected by the devastation in Kentucky, God hears your prayers.
